01. Baine
3607 Baine was vacant and neglected for years - a quiet gap in the Southmoor Subdivision of South Memphis. This project rebuilds a demolished home on its original slab, preserving footprint and memory while delivering a durable, modern residence designed to serve a new generation of homeowners.
01. Designed for Real Life
At 1,449 square feet, the 3-bedroom, 2-bath layout prioritizes flow, daylight, and everyday usability. Vaulted living spaces, and efficient circulation create a home that feels generous without excess—right-sized for comfort, family life, and long-term livability.
02. Built Above the Minimum
Affordable housing shouldn’t mean cutting corners. 3607 Baine exceeds baseline code with upgraded insulation, air-sealing strategies, and durable assemblies suited for Memphis’ mixed-humid climate—reducing energy burden, improving indoor air quality, and lowering long-term maintenance costs.
03. a home that belongs
The design responds directly to its neighborhood context. Familiar massing, a modest front stoop, and durable exterior materials ground the home in South Memphis while subtle modern detailing signals care, longevity, and pride—an infill house that feels rooted, not imposed.
